This site is built on the Spring 2.0 application framework using Java Server Faces 1.2 as the presentation layer of the site. It uses a MySQL database back end. Database is controlled using Hibernate to better manage data access objects in an object oriented way.
This site also makes use of apache Tiles 2 for managing layout of content.
